The process of controlling the high cost and containment of health services and providing quality health care at the same time has become one of the most important challenges of the present century for all parties, including governments and corporations. Due to limited service in the public and private sector, attention has been focused on the private sector, which provides these high-quality health services. As companies and individuals become more aware of the importance of high-quality health services, there is a need to create companies with the necessary capabilities and expertise to meet the need for such services.
For this reason, the Arab Health Expenditure Management Company (MEDEXA) was launched as a private shareholding company in Jordan in 1999 by experts specializing in insurance management. The company has expanded in several countries including Jordan, Syria, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Turkey and Germany.
